Jazz the jackrabbit was just about to marry his girlfriend Eva Earlong, when his arch-nemesis, the turtle Devan Shell, stole the wedding ring. To add insult to injury, Eva's hostile mother has locked Jazz and his brother Spaz in a dungeon. You want to know whether this, the latest in a dying breed of platform games, is worth buying.
Surprisingly enough, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is actually a pretty decent game. This time the eponymous hero has been joined by his ganja'd-up brother Spaz who, contrary to the effects of the demon weed on most people, is pretty tuned in to the task at hand.
You can choose to play cither of them in the quest to rescue Eva Earlong, Jazz's bird or bunny , and the usual platform tricks and traps are there to help and hinder you.
The graphics are on the diminutive side compared to those of other platform games, but this means a lot more of the game area is on-screen - handy for planning your next move.

It was also planned for a U. Thanks for the praise, it's definitely appreciated. It's hard for me to tell if I'm on the right track without feedback. I try to take a look at practically everything I can get my hands on, but that Japanese only RPG looks a bit The problem I've got there is that I don't play fan translations and I can't read Japanese, so I'd either have to figure it out with pure guesswork or type every message box into Google Translate one letter at a time.
I'm not saying that I won't do that at some point, it's just I hope you can understand if I turns out that I don't. Thanks for replying to my comment! You're definitely on the right track. I would understand if you didn't play it, but I've got some good news regarding the game. That cancelled English release I mentioned? There's a prototype. It's a bit Engrishy, sure, but it skirts by your "no fan translations" rule.
